Jason shrugged.
Ryan nodded.
Derek rolled his shoulders.
Angela said:
"If I tap, you stop."
"Obviously," Ryan said.
"If I say lighter, you go lighter."
Ryan nodded.
"If I say stop, we stop."
Michael nodded.
"Agreed."
Angela looked at the three men.
"Then let's begin."
Ethan moved toward her.
"Mom, please."
Angela turned.
His eyes were worried.
Not embarrassed.
Worried.
That told her everything.
Three weeks earlier, Ethan had come home from Westbridge with his right shoulder aching.
He had tried to hide it.
He had failed.
Angela had noticed him struggling to lift his backpack.
