Angela looked at him.

Derek's smile faded slightly.

Angela shook her head.
"This isn't about courage."

She looked toward Ethan.
"Understanding."
Michael stepped onto the mat.
"Everybody stop."
The room became still.
Michael looked at Angela.
"If we do this, we follow rules."
Angela nodded.
"Three rounds."
"Two minutes each."
"One at a time."
"No hard takedowns."
"No submissions held beyond the point of control."
"No striking."
"No ego."
His eyes moved toward Ryan, Jason, and Derek.
